Staff at HC One’s Millbrook care home have been working extremely hard during lockdown and the managers wanted to show their thanks to them.
The Residents and Colleagues at the Stalybridge care home decided that creating a banner would be a great way of showing support to all key workers throughout these difficult times.
Jeanette, Millbrook’s head chef, thought that creating some personalised t-shirts would look good too so these were created and ordered.
The idea behind all of this was to pass on Residents and Relatives huge praise for everybody at the home who is working hard and doing a fantastic job during lockdown.
One of the Residents commented “The staff are a lovely bunch and they always have a smile on their face.”
Home manager Andy Bradley said “I cannot thank my staff enough, from the caring team, the cooks domestic, wellbeing coordinators and maintenance, each have been fantastic and I am so proud for the effort they put in under these extraordinary times.”
Colleagues Lisa said “I fell at this time we are standing together supporting each other through this uncertain time. We remain strong for each other and for our Residents we care for.”
