Today at Hyde care home, offering nursing and nursing memory care, the Greater Manchester Residents have been talking about their favourite things about living there.
Adam Perkins, Wellbeing Coordinator, went around the units and chatted to Residents. Most said how much they enjoy being able to chat to Colleagues and now being able to have their families visit again.
Residents enjoy not having to worry about housework or cooking anymore, and how they enjoy the activities that the home has to offer, including armchair aerobics and singalong sessions.
One Resident said, “I love my room and being able to laugh and joke with staff.”
Another added, “I love having my Manchester City things all around me!”
Adam said, “It’s nice to know that our Residents are happy in the environment and enjoy the activities and being able to have their say.”
