Residents at HC One’s The Beeches care home, have been creating Christmas cards to send out to their families.
Over the past few weeks, Colleagues and Residents at the Tameside care home have been working hard to prepare our Christmas cards home to families.
The Residents have enjoyed taking pictures with the homes inflatable frame and making them into cards. Each Resident has helped write a message inside for their loved ones at this difficult time.
It has been nice to do something different this year, but also to let families know everyone at the home is thinking of them as much as they are thinking of them.
It was a nice one to one activity to do and spend some time reminiscing about Christmases’ gone by and traditions different families had.
Everyone at the home cannot wait for families to receive the cards and hopefully they will send out some joy this Christmas.
Wellbeing coordinator Sade said “I have enjoyed helping prepare the Residents Christmas cards this year to send home. It’s been extra special to let them know we are thinking of them also at Christmas time, it has also been fun to bring some Christmas cheer.”
