Westbury care home welcomes back entertainment for birthdayAt residential and nursing care home, The Westbury, in Wiltshire, it was one very special Resident’s 99th birthday, so what better way to celebrate than some good live entertainment.

Mary marked her 99th birthday in the Garden with her family and Colleagues with entertainment from Sian and Rob, pictured, which was a real added bonus for the party.

Everyone loved celebrating Mary’s special day and enjoyed having the first entertainers back in the garden since the beginning of lockdown.

There was also a buffet served with some delicious drinks too including sherry, Baileys and soft drinks. The birthday cake also went down incredibly well!

Marys daughter, who used to be the Deputy Manager at The Westbury in 2003, commented, “Thank you so much for a wonderful afternoon and having the added bonus of entertainment and helping celebrate my mother’s 99th birthday which will provide happy memories.”

Mary said, “Thank you, lovely afternoon. I really enjoyed it all.”

Theresa Chacko, Care Home Manager, remarked, “Everyone had a lovely afternoon, the sun was shining, the garden looked lovely and the entertainers were very good.”
