Residents at Millbrook care home in Stalybridge, Tameside admired an early winter wonderland as they visited Daisy Nook Garden Centre.
Shirley, Nancy, Beryl, Laurie, Rachel and Abby enjoyed a stroll around the garden centre as they admired the beautiful Christmas displays.
While many Residents enjoyed looking at the different Christmas trees, others loved admiring the festive decorations and candles on display.
The walk around the garden centre was followed by a delicious cup of tea or coffee in the café, along with a warming lunch of chicken and vegetable soup with a freshly-baked bread roll.
Residents thoroughly enjoyed the visit, as Laurie said: “I love looking at Christmas decorations, particularly the ones that sparkle, they always look so grand.”
Shirley added: “I used to come here all the time.”
