HC-One’s Ash Tree House Care Home in Hindley, Wigan, marked National Fudge Day with a Summer Holiday theme day on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, hosted by HC-One’s Group Development Chef, Pete Coles.
In celebration of National Fudge Day, the sweet treat took centre stage as the care home embraced a Summer Holiday theme spectacular chef development day workshop. The day kicked off from 10.30am to 11.30am with a hands-on fudge-making session, where residents created delicious fudge, fudge-flavoured ice cream, and other summer-inspired treats.
In the afternoon from 2pm to 3pm, residents and their relatives were invited to join a tasting session featuring an array of fudge-flavoured delights.
