Kings Court Care Home and Middlebeck Community Host Macmillan Coffee Morning to Support People LivinKings Court Care Home in Newark, Nottinghamshire, part of HC-One, is proud to announce that it will be hosting a Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday 26th September, from 10.30am to 12.00pm, in partnership with Urban & Civic, making this a very special Middlebeck community event.
 
Residents, families, colleagues, and members of the local community in Middlebeck are warmly invited to come together for a morning of hot coffee, fresh cakes, and good conversation – all while raising vital funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. Volunteers will be on hand with collection buckets to help raise as much as possible, with every penny going directly to support the almost 3.5 million people in the UK living with cancer, from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.
 
To make the morning extra special, Kings Court is welcoming donations of cakes and encouraging as many local residents as possible to come along. The more the merrier – and the more funds raised for this incredible cause.
 
Kings Court Care Home is a warm and welcoming residential and residential dementia care home in Newark, where colleagues are dedicated to providing the kindest possible care. Hosting the Coffee Morning is one of the many ways the home continues to connect with the community and make a difference in people’s lives.

Events like this remind us of the strength and kindness of our community, and we’re proud to do our part in helping Macmillan continue their incredible work supporting people living with cancer.”
 
Looking ahead to autumn, as part of marking World Mental Health Day, Kings Court Care Home are hosting an open day event on Friday 10th October, 11am – 4pm, welcoming in members of their local community to socialise to combat loneliness, enjoy light refreshments and take part in a range of engaging activities to help improve brain health. The event will provide the opportunity for guests to have a look around the home, whilst also seeing what the home has to offer and enjoying the open spaces including the garden room, lounge, cinema room and cafĂ©.
