A lovely trip out to Botton Village for Redcar care home ResidentsThree Residents from St Peters Court, residential and residential dementia care home in Redcar, went out for a lovely visit to Botton Village.

Ann, Evelyn and Sheila had a fantastic trip out to Botton Village which is part of Camphill Trust.

It was a scenic drive over the North Yorkshire Moors in the sunshine admiring the views.  One of the ladies, commented, “What a gorgeous morning, it’s been lovely to be out and about in the sunshine.”

When the ladies arrived at Botton they were ready for a cup of coffee.

The three ladies who went along on the trip said they had enjoyed the trip over the moors and asked if they can go back when the heather is out.

Everyone enjoyed coffee, tea, or hot chocolate to warm them up on a cold and windy day.

The drive back home was just as nice, spotting sheep and cows along the way.

The ladies had a great time and one of them, said, “I can see sheep.  We need to spot some cows now. Thank you for taking us out, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed myself.”

Jamie Stephenson, Care Home Manager, remarked, “It was lovely to see the ladies going out to enjoy themselves in the sunshine. We look forward to the Residents getting out more in the better weather.”
