A photograph of Bryson Crinson, a Resident at HC-One’s Needham Court care home in Jarrow taken by his daughter, Sandra on Christmas Day won a local photography competition.
Sandra visited her father at Needham Court care home on Christmas Day, the visit was in line with COVID-19 guidelines and Byrson and his daughter were separated by a glass screen. To capture the moment, Sandra took a photograph of her dad which she entered in to the South Tyneside WI Federation photography competition.
Bryson and his daughter were delighted to hear that their photograph had come first place in the competition.
Needham Court Home Manager, Joann Mills said: “It is lovely to hear that Sandra’s photograph touched others the way it did for us at Needham Court. It is a beautifully poignant photograph that captured the experience of a father and daughter during a Christmas different to most.”
