Aberpennar Court care home, in Mountain Ash, Rhondda Cyon Taf, received a lovely card from The Prince and Princess of Wales.
Residents and Colleagues at the 47-bed residential and nursing care home had sent a sympathy card to Windsor Caste when Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth passed away last year and they were very moved at the acknowledgement card that was sent in return.
The card read:
“The Prince and Princess of Wales would like to thank you for your kind words sent following the death of Her Majesty The Queen.”
“Their Royal Highnesses have been extremely touched y the very thoughtful messages of condolence that they have received during this time. “
“They will deeply miss Her Majesty, who played such an important part of their lives, but so appreciate your message which has provided them with a great deal of comfort.”
Leanne Gunter, Home Manager at Aberpennar Court, commented, “It’s so special coming from The Prince and Princess of Wales, we can hang the framed card in our care home’s gallery.”
