Residents at HC-One’s Bankhouse care home, in Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire, have been busy preparing to celebrate King Charles’ coronation.
The 52-bed care home, that offers residential, nursing and dementia care, has been decked out in a colourful array of union flag bunting and red, white and blue decorations ahead of the coronation weekend.
Wellbeing Coordinator Lynsey Parsons, who organised the activities, said, “All the residents really enjoyed getting involved in the planning and coordinating the decorations.”
A Resident commented, “It’s been a lot of fun getting everything ready for the coronation, we’re all really into the party spirit now!”
Rosalind Evenett, Care Home Manager, said, “We’re so excited for our coronation party on Saturday 6th May. The whole local community is invited to come and join the celebrations with us, it promises to be a very special occasion”.
