Beaconsfield Court in Barnard Castle, County Durham are celebrating success after Residents and Relatives voted them as one of the Top 20 recommended care homes in North East in the carehome.co.uk awards 2022. This marks Beaconsfield Court’s second year in the prestigious top 20 group.
Carehome.co.uk, the UK's leading care home directory and comparison website, holds its annual Care Home Awards to recognise the 20 top-rated care homes in each region of the UK. These are based on individual review scores that carehome.co.uk have received from Residents, and their friends, family and loved ones, demonstrating real life opinions and first-hand experiences from those most closely connected to the home.
Beaconsfield Court received an overall rating of 10/10 based on independent reviews, in recognition of the high standards of care provided at the home – which provides residential services for the local community. The 30-bed home received a CQC ‘Good’ report in March 2021 in all categories, demonstrating that the home is safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led.
HC-One is committed to providing the highest standards of care in every community they serve, which is demonstrated by their 9.5/10 average rating on the carehome.co.uk website – which is among the highest review scores across the care home sector.

“My experience with Beaconsfield Court has been excellent. All staff are so friendly and helpful. The home is a first class home that care for every resident and the relatives and friends. Communication is excellent. From the beginning of enquiring to the move in has been a smooth transition. The manager and deputy manager have been exceptional with easing worries and concerns, very warm and supportive welcome every time. First class home, thank you to each staff member.”

In total, 24 HC-One homes received awards for being among the Top 20 care homes in their respective regions with nine receiving awards for being in the Top 20 Care Homes in the North East of England.
