A lovely birthday celebration was had at HC-One’s Old Gates care home, in Shepton Mallet.
Win, who is a Resident at the home, had lots of cards and presents to open on her special day, she also enjoyed a few drinks with her lunch. Colleagues sang ‘Happy Birthday’ while presenting Win with a large cake. She was laughing and singing along, really enjoying her day. And to top off the celebrations, a special visit from her daughter made.
The day had a lovely atmosphere and all Colleagues made a special effort to celebrate Win’s birthday, despite the current restrictions.
The wellbeing team commented, “Win still smiles when talking about her birthday, she said that she had forgot about the pandemic for the day.”
