Bishop Auckland, Care Assistant shortlisted for The Care Home Worker Award at the Great British CareClaire Bailey, Care Assistant, at HC-One’s Eden House care home in Bishop Auckland, County Durham a 53-bed residential and residential dementia care home, has been shortlisted for The Care Home Worker Award Category at the Great British Care Awards 2022 for the North East region. 

The nomination for the award is in recognition of her hard work and kind care shown to Residents, Relatives and Colleagues as well as the dedication and passion Claire, shows every day to ensure the people she supports receive the best quality care.

Claire is a very passionate, caring, and dedicated members of staff. She is very kind to the Residents; they speak very highly of the work she does and is very well respected at Eden House. She is an asset to the team, and everyone is proud to have her as a member of the team.

Home Manager, Emma Grebby, who nominated Claire for the award, said:

The Great British Care Awards consist of 21 awards, which cover a wide range of areas of the social care sector. The awards are a series of regional events throughout the UK and are a celebration of distinction across the care sector. The awards pay tribute to those who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their area of work. The award ceremony of the Great British Care Awards 2022, Regional Awards for the North East region takes place at the Grand Hotel Gosforth Park, in Newcastle on Thursday 10th November 2022 when the winners will be announced. Successful winners at the North East regional awards will progress to the national finals of the Great British Care Awards 2023 taking place on Friday 17th March 2023 at the ICC in Birmingham.
