Celebrations were to be had at
Glanffrwd care home, in Pencoed, Bridgend, on 23rd March as one special couple marked their 60th wedding anniversary.
Barbara Evans, who lives at the 45-bed residential and nursing care home, and her husband Emrys Evans, marked their six decades of marriage with a buffet tea party, which took place at Glanffrwd, which had been dressed in party decorations for the occasion.
Seven Relatives and fellow Residents joining in with the celebrations, which included a Bucks Fizz toast and cutting, not one, but two fabulous cakes!
Barbara and Emrys both commented, “We would like to thank Glanffrwd care home for helping to make this a very special day for us both.”
Fellow Residents and family members all commented on what a lovely and happy event it was.
Alison Waymouth, Home Administrator, remarked, “We at Glanffrwd, were delighted to be able to help Barbara and Emrys to celebrate such a special day together.”
