This month’s theme at Avon Court care home, which offers nursing and residential care, as well as nursing memory care, is spring and Colleagues went above and beyond to bring the wonders of spring indoors too.
Colleagues decorated the conservatory with lovely spring pictures (see pictured centre) and there was an activity making spring themed floral headbands for everyone to wear.
Everyone had a good sing song on the karaoke and the home’s chef, Peter, made some lovely food for everyone to enjoy. Daphne, who lives at the home, said, “What a lovely afternoon, and the food was delicious!”
Wellbeing Coordinators Lyn Neate and Leila Garraway said that it was a lovely activity to celebrate spring and raised everyone’s spirits.
