Colleagues treated to ice-cream at St James Park care homeAn ice-cream van arrived this week at St James Park care home, in Dorset, and Colleagues were delighted to hear that the aim was to support all hardworking staff on duty with a free ice-cream.

This very kind thought towards all care workers and Colleagues, had everyone smiling all afternoon as those involved were very pleased to have a delicious treat after their lunch break!

Caroline, who is a Senior Care Assistant at the 31-bed residential and nursing care home, said, “It’s so nice to feel appreciated, gives me more confidence in myself.”

Mihaela Barbulescu, Care Home Manager, commented, “Sometimes, all you need is love. Oh wait, and ice cream! (And chocolate to go along with it as nowadays love is anything but sweet.) We all had a very nice lunch break, lots of joy and fun.”
