Three Residents from HC-One’s
Greatwood House care home, in Denton, Tameside, had a lovely trip to the Light Cinema this week to watch a dementia friendly version of Calamity Jane, staring Doris Day.
The group had such a good time and enjoyed it so much, that Colleagues have booked another trip next month!
Brenda Moores, Renee Redfern and Doreen Cronshaw, all pictured, were accompanied by Wellbeing Coordinator Donna and Carers Rachel and Sophie.
The group talked about memories of going to the pictures when they were younger and how they all enjoyed a change of watching the film at the cinema rather than in the home.
Odette Lilley, Care Home Manager, remarked, “It’s great now the Residents can go out and about (now restrictions have eased)!”
