Residents at
Tenlands care home in Ferryhill on the 18th of July enjoyed a fantastic performance from a local brass band.
Fishburn Brass Band were delighted to be invited along to Tenlands care home for a special performance for the Residents.
It was a great day for it as the sun was shining and it was lovely and warm.
Some of the Residents sat outside under the parasol enjoying the weather and others enjoyed the performance from the conservatory in the shade.
The band were excellent, and the performance was enjoyed by everyone.
One Resident, commented, “It was lovely hearing the band playing, I recognised lots of the songs too.”
Jill Morton-Carr, Care Home Manager, added, “We cannot thank the band enough for visiting us, especially in the extreme heat. The residents really enjoyed it.”
