The Beeches care home, in Dukinfield, Tameside, enjoyed at trip to Uppermill to visit the garden centre and it’s new Christmas display.
Colleagues and Residents journeyed to Uppermill, which is around a 20 minute drive away from the home, and enjoyed a nice hot drink and a cake in the café as well as wandering around and looking at the items on offer in the garden centre, (now the new Christmas decorations have been displayed!)
On the way home the group took a drive through the countryside and seeing familiar places. While listening to Eva Cassidy and seeing all the sites, Dorothy, who is a Resident at the 32-bed residential care home, commented, “I have lived my best life today enjoying a trip out.”
Sade Smith, Wellbeing Coordinator at The Beeches, remarked, “We have enjoyed a lovely day out today it was so nice to see everyone happy.”
