Hambleton Residents take part in a music themed afternoonThe Residents at HC-One’s Bankhouse care home, in Hambleton, Poulton-le-Fylde, were pleased to welcome a visit from Music in Mind.

Ian visited Residents at the 52-bed residential, nursing and dementia care home, from ‘Music in Mind’, which is a charity that uses music and arts to support wellbeing among people.

Equipped with his guitar, ukulele and mouth organ, Residents were in for a fun afternoon of songs and smiles which they absolutely loved.

In total, fourteen Residents from Garden Court and River View communities attended, whilst enjoying a nice cup of tea or coffee and cake when listening to the music.

John who is a Resident Bankhouse, pictured left, certainly stole the show with his dance moves, much to everyone’s joy!

All of the Residents agreed that it was really enjoyable, and they can’t wait to see him again!

Roz Evenett, Care Home Manager, remarked, “Lovely to see all our Residents smiling, dancing and enjoying themselves.”
