HC-One's Meadow Bank House care home jumps for joy in latest CQC ReportHC-One’s Meadow Bank House in Great Lever, Bolton has had colleagues jumping for joy as they received their latest Care Quality Commission (CQC) rated as ‘Good’.

Home Manager Jincy Lukose and the team at Meadow Bank House were delighted to have received an impressive CQC report that rated the home as ‘Good’ in all areas inspected, demonstrating that the home is providing high standards of care for Residents, and the service is safe and well-led.

The inspectors summary of findings was full of positive comments for colleagues at Meadow Bank House, highlighting the kind ways in which they provide care for residents at the home. 
“There was a positive and open culture at the service. The provider had systems to provide person-centred care that achieved good outcomes for people.”

People and relatives spoke highly of the staff team and managers. A relative said: 
"The staff are wonderful they are kind and caring. When they enter the room, I can see the staff demonstrate empathy towards [person], and respect [person's] dignity at all times, shutting the door when they support [person's] needs.”

There were also comments made on the responsive times to residents, and how residents felt,
“All the people we spoke with told us they felt (the) home provided safe care. One person told us, "I feel safe here as I get regular attention from the carers and if I call for their attention with my buzzer, they [staff] attend to me fairly quickly. I would recommend the home due to the attention I get.”

Residents and their Relatives have also rated Meadow Bank House 9.7/10 on the independent review site carehome.co.uk – demonstrating that they agree with the recent ‘Good’ rating by the CQC.
