For Colleagues at HC-One, a Kindness in Care Award is such a great achievement and for a wonderful Colleague at
Summerhill care home in Kendal it was exactly that.
It was lovely for Trudi the 71-bed residential, nursing and dementia care homes Receptionist to receive her Kindness in Care Award.
Trudi has only been with HC-One for a few months after covering for Chantelle who is currently on maternity leave.
It speaks volumes about Trudi's kind and caring approach that she has received one of these awards so soon into her career with Summerhill and HC-One.
Trudi, remarked, “It is such a lovely thing for someone to do as I am just doing my job.”
Pat, a Resident at the care home, said, “Trudi is lovely and kind and deserves this fantastic award.”
Kathleen Dean, Care Home Manager, added, “Trudi has stepped in brilliantly and continues to be a valuable part of the team at Summerhill.”
