Residents and Colleagues at HC-One’s The Polegate care home enjoyed a trip to the local Polegate high street this week to visit a small café.
Just two Residents decided they wanted to go out on the trip, so Colleagues took them to enjoy a hot drink and slice of cake at the café.
They enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine and simply watching the world go by. Trips like this are always beneficial to the wellbeing of Residents as they come back feeling happy and content.
One Resident remarked: “It’s so lovely to get outside in this beautiful weather, it makes such a nice change to have some normality back in everyone’s lives.”
