One Resident, at
Priory Gardens, residential, nursing and residential dementia care home in Pontefract, thought the best way to bring in the new year was to brace the weather get some exercise.
Albert Vaux enjoyed a walk out to the local shops along with Wellbeing Coordinator, Karen Weaver.
Although the weather was very windy Albert was keen to get out and enjoy some fresh morning air.
He loved feeling the wind on his face and said it felt wonderful.
Albert had a great walk out and said, “Thanks for taking me you are very kind.”
Allison Gill, Care Home Manager, commented, “We are keen for the Residents to take part in some exercise and when Albert asked if he could go for a little walk we were thrilled.”
