Residents from Cold Springs Park care home take part in charity craft fairResidents at Cold Springs Park care home in Penrith, Cumbria, took a trip down to their local Morrisons supermarket to take part in a charity craft fair.

Four Residents, from the 60-bed residential and residential dementia care home went to the Craft Fair at their local Morrisons store.

They all took an interest in all the stalls with different arts and crafts as they are always keen to join in with crafting activities in the care home.

They chatted with the stall holders about all the bits and bobs they were selling.

The Residents then sat down for a lovely afternoon tea in the café followed by a private tour of the store.

All the Residents who attended the craft fair had a great time and loved seeing all the different items that were on offer. One Resident, remarked, “I hope there is another one soon, it was an amazing afternoon out.”

Jacqueline Johnstone, Care Home Manager, said, “It is lovely to see the Residents getting out in the local community. We communicate regularly with Morrisons. They keep us informed of events and support us with raffle prizes, which is amazing.”
