Salisbury care home Residents celebrate Afternoon Tea Week in the gardenFor Afternoon Tea Week, Residents at Harnham Croft care home, in Salisbury, chose to embrace the warm sunshine and enjoy an afternoon tea on the patio in the home’s garden. 

Afternoon Tea Week took place 8th till 14th August this year, and this year Residents at the 38-bed residential and nursing care home, had a huge selection of delicious treats to choose from including sandwiches, cakes, crisps and even some fruit punch to wash it down with. 

Colleagues and Residents, including Pat, Lynn, Eric, Gillian, Sandy and John, enjoyed chatting to each other while listening to some music. 

Gillian commented, “The presentation of the food is always to a high standard and looks amazing. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.”

Fellow Resident Lynn added, “I liked the fruit punch the best as it tasted lovely and I loved eating the slices of cucumber, very refreshing!”

Pat said, “My favourite! Cheese and pickle sandwiches. It’s so lovely to be able to relax out here. What more could you want?”

Deputy Manager Tracey, described the great afternoon, “A wonderful, sunny afternoon had by all, with lovely homemade sandwiches and cakes.”
