A care home in Beeston has been celebrating Christmas with a Winter Wonderland festive event for its residents.
Silverwood Care Home, which provides residential, nursing and dementia care, also welcomed the Mayor of Broxtowe, Councillor Teresa Cullen, who attended with her daughter and grandson.
There were a range of stalls, including a cake stall and a ‘guess-the-sweets’ game, and a raffle. Local entertainer Hanna come in to sing for the residents and the staff wore fancy dress Christmas outfits to fit the festive theme.
Mayor of Broxtowe, Councillor Teresa Cullen, said:
“We thoroughly enjoyed the light trail and couldn't believe what the team at Silverwood Care Home had achieved.
We will definitely try to come back again next year.”
