Tameside Residents enjoy a drive out for the afternoonOn 19th April, at HC-One’s The Beeches care home, in Dukinfield, Tameside, Residents have enjoyed a lovely drive out enjoying the spring weather.

Residents June, Lucy and Bernice were accompanied by Colleagues, including Wellbeing Coordinator Sade, as they drove through the countryside, stopping at a garden centre and enjoying a drink and toasted teacakes.

After enjoying the refreshments, the group enjoyed walking around the garden centre, looking at the fishes and guinea pigs.

On the drive home they drove through the countryside, seeing baby lambs feeding with their mums and beautiful spring flowers. We even enjoyed at good singalong all the way home.

June said, “I have really enjoyed myself; it’s been lovely to get out seeing everything it’s been really nice. I will be coming out with you again!”

Fellow Resident Lucy, who is a new Resident at The Beeches, added, “I have enjoyed coming out, it’s been a long time since I have been anywhere.”

Sade Smith, Wellbeing Coordinator, said, “I have enjoyed today, especially taking our new ladies out and getting to know them better. The weather is much better now to enjoy being out and driving through the countryside.”
