On 12th April, some of the ladies from HC-One’s
The Beeches care home, which located in the popular residential area of Dukinfield, Greater Manchester, enjoyed a trip to the local garden centre.
The group of Colleagues and Residents from the 32-bed residential care home enjoyed looking at the animals and admiring the plants. They also spent time in the café, enjoying a hot drink and a cake and chatting together.
Dorothy (pictured with fellow Residents Barbara and Gladys), said, “The lemon cake I am eating is nearly just as good as the one I make!”
Sade Smith, Wellbeing Coordinator, then chatted with Dorothy about possibly making a lemon cake back at the home.
When asked if she enjoyed the day, Barbara said, “It’s a lovely place, seeing all the fishes and other animals.”
Dorothy added, “I have had a good day, and saw a friend there which was nice.”
Sade commented, “It is always lovely for Residents to get out, enjoy a coffee, and spend time away from the home watching the world go by.
