The start of the panto season for Tameside ResidentsResidents of The Beeches care home, in Dukinfield, Tameside, enjoyed their first pantomime in the home after two years, as they all got together and enjoyed watching Oliver Twist.

Performed by NorthEast productions, the show was absolutely fantastic, and everyone enjoyed every minute. There was a lot of audience participation and Audrey, who lives at the 32-bed residential care home, was chosen to play the part of Mrs Bramble, she was fantastic and got very into the character.

Audrey commented, “I have really enjoyed myself today, taking part made it even better the show was really good well done to all involved.”

After the panto had finished, everyone joined in for a carol service to finish and then enjoyed a buffet lunch and festive drinks, this really got everyone in the Christmas spirit.
