Wigston care home Resident enjoys big 90th birthday bashA Resident at HC-One’s Magna care home in Wigston, recently had a big birthday bash in the home to celebrate her 90th birthday.

It was a very special day for one of Magna’s Residents on Tuesday 15th December, as the lovely Constance Betty Dent turned a very young 90 years old.

Betty, as she likes to be called, celebrated the day with garden visits from close family and friends. There were balloons, banners and gifts a plenty exchanged during the visits and lots of singing ‘Happy Birthday’ and happy tears from everyone involved.

Later in the day, members of staff and Residents sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to Betty whilst she blew out the candles on her cake, which was especially made for the occasion by Magna’s in-house Chef.

Betty shared her cake with everyone in the home and it was very well received by all, “it was so nice of Betty to share her cake with us,” said one Resident.

Magna Home Manager, said: “Betty is looking amazing for her age, Residents have loved sharing Betty’s special day with her and they loved the cake.”
