Afternoon tea on a Wednesday at
County Homes care home, in Woodchurch, is a regular occurrence and this week one Resident said something rather special about these events.
Every week, Colleagues host a beautiful afternoon tea where Residents enjoy a cup of tea or coffee together, and a variety of cakes to enjoy in the presence of others.
Corena (pictured), who lives at the 82-bed nursing dementia care home, said this week, “My key to happiness is a hot cup of tea in a China cup.”
Many of the other Residents comment that they really enjoy the afternoon, and the cakes certainly go down very well!
Paula Royle, Home Administrator, sad, “Numerous people attend afternoon tea on a Wednesday each week and very much enjoy what is on offer.”
