There were a wide variety of things going on in honour of World Chocolate Day at HC-One’s Park House care home in Guisborough.
In the morning, residents made chocolate crispy cakes, using melted galaxy. The cakes were iced and decorated with chocolate icing and sugar strands.
In the afternoon, staff and residents took part in a chocolate quiz with questions and a picture quiz, where you had to guess the chocolate bar and to make it more of a challenge, staff and residents used some photographs with their original wrappers. The residents were fascinated to see how the packaging has changed over the years.
All residents were offered a chocolate treat in the afternoon which everyone loved.
