Oaklands Care Home

Located in the attractive parish of Laindon, on the outskirts of Basildon, Oaklands is a friendly, purpose-built home with 51 beds, which offers residential and residential dementia care.

With its two attractive sitting rooms and two dining rooms, Oaklands offers plenty of areas in which to relax, dine or be creative, all designed for our Residents’ comfort. A hairdressing salon and treatment room provide further opportunities for relaxation. The pretty garden, which is looked after by some of our Residents, is the perfect spot for catching up with friends and family. All comfortable bedrooms and living areas are easily accessible by wheelchair. Some rooms have garden views.

The home’s caring team has created a pleasant family atmosphere, encouraging everyone to eat together and celebrate special occasions with one another. Residents are invited to decorate their rooms with small items of their own furniture and treasured belongings so that it feels just like home. Daily life is thoughtfully designed to support mind, body and soul.
