The Oakes Care Home

Conveniently placed in a residential area on the outskirts of Huddersfield, The Oakes is a friendly, purpose-built care home with 60 beds, offering residential and residential dementia care.

At The Oakes, life feels calm, welcoming and full of warmth. Our beautiful home offers plenty of places to relax and enjoy time with others - from cosy lounges and bright dining spaces to our popular hair salon and peaceful sun lounge overlooking the gardens. The secure, landscaped gardens are lovingly tended by some of our Residents and provide a favourite spot for family visits and summer afternoons.

Every bedroom is stylish, comfortable and wheelchair accessible, with some opening directly onto the garden. Residents are encouraged to bring treasured belongings and small pieces of furniture to make their room feel truly like home. Our caring team has created a real family atmosphere, celebrating special occasions together and making each day meaningful.

Led by our compassionate Home Manager, The Oakes team provides tailored care built around each Resident’s individual needs, preferences and routines. Every care plan is personal - taking into account health, diet, faith, hobbies and family input - to ensure every Resident feels supported, respected and cared for with genuine kindness.
