HC-One’s Ashgrove Care Home in Hounslow recently hosted a heartwarming celebration to mark the 90th birthday of resident Gordon Maciver. Friends, family, and carers came together on 2 December to honour Gordon and his partner, Terry, in a joyful afternoon filled with memories, laughter, and community spirit.
Guests enjoyed a delicious spread of food and drink, shared stories, and took plenty of photos to commemorate the special occasion. The celebration featured a beautiful birthday cake and a heartfelt rendition of “Happy Birthday,” sung by Terry, five friends, and members of the care team.
Gordon was visibly delighted by the festivities and remarked, “It’s been a beautiful day.”
