Brinnington Hall Care Home Knits Every Day This November in Support of Dementia UKColleagues and residents at HC-One’s Brinnington Hall Care Home in Stockport, Manchester, are picking up their knitting needles every day throughout November to raise funds for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity.

The home’s much-loved Knit and Natter group has set themselves the challenge of knitting every day this month to help ensure that no family faces dementia alone. The initiative brings together residents, colleagues, and members of the local community to enjoy a relaxing and creative activity while supporting a cause close to their hearts.

All funds raised will go directly to Dementia UK, helping the charity provide vital support through its specialist Admiral Nurses, who offer life-changing care and advice for families affected by all forms of dementia.

Just £8 can cover the telephone costs for two families seeking help through Dementia UK’s free Helpline. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference.
