Residents at HC-One’s Coopers Croft Care Home in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, recently stepped into a world of whimsy and delight during a Mad Hatters Tea Party, inspired by the magical tale of
Alice in Wonderland. The event brought laughter, creativity, and a sense of playful adventure to all who attended.
The care home was transformed into a fantastical tea party setting, complete with colourful decorations, oversized teacups, and eccentric “mad hats” that residents and colleagues proudly wore. Guests were treated to a variety of teas, delectable pastries, and traditional finger sandwiches, creating a truly immersive experience.
Activities throughout the afternoon included hat-making sessions, themed quizzes, and fun storytelling, ensuring that every resident could engage in a way that suited them. The event encouraged creativity, social interaction, and joyful memories, highlighting Coopers Croft’s commitment to vibrant and meaningful activities for its residents.
Families also joined in making the event a true community celebration and strengthening the bonds between residents, colleagues, and the surrounding neighbourhood.
This Mad Hatters Tea Party is part of Coopers Croft’s wider programme of engaging activities designed to enhance wellbeing, spark creativity, and bring happiness to daily life.
