HC-One’s Ebor Court Care Home in Nether Poppleton, York is inviting members of the local community to come together for a relaxed and welcoming coffee morning aimed at building connections and reducing social isolation.
The event, titled “Together at the Table”, will take place on Monday 19 January at 10am at Ebor Court Care Home. Guests can enjoy tea, coffee and biscuits in a warm, friendly setting, with plenty of opportunity for conversation and getting to know others.
The gentle get-together is designed to bring people together around the table, encouraging social interaction and helping everyone feel welcome and included. Residents, relatives, neighbours and members of the wider community are all encouraged to attend.
Yvonne Penrose, Home Manager at Ebor Court Care Home said:
“Our coffee morning is all about creating a sense of togetherness. We want to provide a welcoming space where people can enjoy a warm drink, friendly conversation and the chance to meet new people, while helping to tackle loneliness and social isolation in our community.”
