HC-One’s Elworth Grange Care Home in Sandbach, Cheshire, once again kicked off the festive season in style, hosting its annual Christmas Fair, a much-loved community occasion that brought together residents, families, staff, local businesses, and visitors for a joyful day of celebration.
This year’s fair was another resounding success, filled with festive cheer, lively entertainment and heartwarming community spirit. The team at Elworth Grange extended their sincere thanks to every individual who attended and supported the event, helping to make it one of the most memorable yet.
Rachel Collins, Home Manager at HC-One’s Elworth Grange Care Home, said:

A very special thank you was also given to Santa and Mrs Claus, who took precious time out of their busy North Pole schedule to visit the home’s beautifully decorated grotto. Their visit brought joy and excitement to many young visitors, helping to keep the magic of Christmas alive.
Visitors enjoyed a wide range of festive attractions throughout the day. BieleBrat delighted guests with their authentic German Bratwurst, while Cheshire Mascot Parties Ltd brought along a mischievous elf who entertained families in the afternoon. The Strings & Sunshine Community Ukulele Band filled the home with uplifting Christmas music, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Local stallholders offered a variety of unique Christmas gifts, and guests were treated to a selection of festive drinks, including creamy Hot Chocolate and the popular Mince Pie Latte. The sweet treat tombola provided plenty of fun, and the home’s raffle, already proving popular with tickets on sale, added to the excitement.
Reflecting on the success of the fair, Rachel shared, “We hope everyone enjoyed the event as much as we did. Seeing our community come together brings so much happiness to our residents and staff. It truly is the highlight of our year.”
