Christmas has officially arrived at HC-One’s Coppice Court Care Home in Eastbourne, East Sussex, where residents and team members came together for a joyful day of decorating and festive cheer.
The home was filled with excitement as residents helped to fluff the Christmas tree, hang decorations throughout the lounges, and bring warm seasonal sparkle to every corner of Coppice Court. Laughter, music, and the sound of cherished Christmas classics created a heart-warming atmosphere enjoyed by all.
Activities Co-ordinators Tia Downer and Gabby Kent led the festive preparations and were delighted to see residents getting involved and enjoying the occasion.
Tia said:
“It was amazing, the decorations, the festive feeling, and the music all came together beautifully. I love having the decorations up; it’s wonderful to see.”
Gabby added:
“It’s lovely to see the residents enjoying themselves and getting into the festive spirit. The whole home feels magical.”
The decorating session concluded with an uplifting sing-along of favourite Christmas songs, bringing smiles and seasonal joy to residents and colleagues alike.
Coppice Court’s Home Manager said the team looks forward to many more festive activities throughout December as the home continues to celebrate the season.
