
Residents of HC-One’s Fleming Court Care Home in Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear, were treated to a delightful day out at the Sunderland Museum, bringing smiles, laughter, and cherished memories.
The outing began with a scenic bus ride, giving residents the chance to enjoy the fresh air, share stories, and catch up with friends. Once at the museum, they explored a variety of exhibits, taking in fascinating historical displays and art collections, sparking conversations and reminiscences. Many residents were seen marvelling at the artefacts and enjoying hands-on experiences, while staff ensured everyone felt comfortable and included.

The Sunderland Museum outing is part of Fleming Court Care Home’s ongoing programme of activities, designed to offer meaningful experiences that stimulate the mind, foster social connections, and encourage residents to enjoy new adventures.
