HC-One’s Fosse Way View Care Home in Bingham, Nottingham, is opening its doors to the local community for a special coffee afternoon on Friday 24th October, as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Residents, families, and community members are invited to enjoy coffee, cakes, and friendly conversation, all while raising funds for the Wear it Pink campaign, which supports vital breast cancer research and awareness initiatives.
The event will feature a selection of homemade cakes, hot beverages, and light refreshments, prepared by the care home’s catering team. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet and chat with the residents, take a tour of the care home, and participate in activities designed to celebrate community spirit and togetherness. Guests are encouraged to wear something pink in recognition of the campaign and to show solidarity with those affected by breast cancer.
