Goole care home residents dive into creativity with ‘Art 4 All’ community projectResidents at HC-One’s Windsor Court Care Home in Goole, East Yorkshire, recently took part in a heartwarming community art initiative as part of the Art 4 All project, led by The Goddards, a local home for adults with learning difficulties.

The Art 4 All programme brings together schools, care homes, and community organisations to create artwork around a shared annual theme. This year’s theme was Water, inspiring Windsor Court residents to create an imaginative “Under the Sea” display.

Led by HC-One Windsor Court Care Home’s Wellbeing Coordinator, Eleanor Martin, the project took place over several afternoons and brought residents together in a joyful and creative environment.

Once completed, the Windsor Court team took a trip to nearby Howden to see the artwork displayed in the stunning setting of Howden Minster, alongside contributions from other local groups. Residents were delighted to view their own work and share in the creative spirit of others in the community.

The Art 4 All initiative highlights the power of creativity to unite people of all ages and backgrounds, and HC-One’s Windsor Court Care Home is proud to support and celebrate inclusive community events like this one.

HC-One Windsor Court Care Home’s Wellbeing Coordinator, Eleanor Martin, said:

“The residents had a brilliant time working on this project. It was so much more than just art—it was laughter, memories, and connection.

“It was a humbling and inspiring experience to see how much talent and care went into all of the artwork. From start to finish, it was a joy to be part of, and we’re already looking forward to taking part again next year.”
