HC-One care homes across Britain are preparing to open their doors to welcome in visitors from their local communities to join them in this year’s Care Home Open Week celebrations between Monday 16
th June and Sunday 22
nd June 2025.
HC-One’s main celebration events will be taking place during Care Home Open Weekend from between Friday 20
th June and Sunday 22
nd June 2025. The week will see over 280 HC-One care homes showcasing their range of services and hosting fun-filled activities for friends, families and the local community to join in with, in line with HC-One’s chosen theme for this year’s Care Home Open Week of ‘The Big Summer Weekender’. The homes and members of their local communities will come together to celebrate summertime memories, past and present. Events and activities will include summer garden festivals, picnics, and some may even bring some sun, sea and sand to their homes.
HC-One homes will be adorned in a variety of summer themed decorations, emulating the nostalgic feel of British summer holidays, past and present, providing a perfect setting for everyone to come together as a community, and to learn more about life at their care home.
Visitors can also find out about opportunities for community engagement and about the volunteering roles on offer that are designed to support their local care community.
