Residents and colleagues at Hepworth House Care Home in Stanley, Wakefield, are inviting members of the local community to join them for a special fundraising event in support of Comic Relief this Red Nose Day.
Taking place on Friday 20 March 2026 from 2pm to 4pm, the event will bring residents, families and neighbours together for an afternoon of fun, creativity and fundraising.
Visitors will be able to enjoy a community cake sale featuring a selection of homemade treats while taking part in craft stations offering creative activities for people of all ages.
All money raised during the event will go towards Comic Relief’s work supporting people experiencing poverty and hardship in the UK and around the world.
Colleagues at Hepworth House hope the event will bring the community together in the spirit of Red Nose Day, encouraging laughter, creativity and generosity while raising vital funds for a national charity.
Members of the community are warmly encouraged to attend and take part and cake donations for the sale are also very welcome.
Hayley Hirst, Front of House Manager at Hepworth House Care Home, said:
