
Residents, relatives, and friends of HC-One’s Highclere Care Home in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, recently came together for a spectacular Cheese, Wine & Fireworks Night that lit up the autumn evening.
The event was a wonderful success, with a fantastic turnout from residents’ families and members of the local community. Guests enjoyed sampling a delicious variety of cheeses paired with fine wines, while the ever-popular Tombola added an extra touch of fun and excitement to the night.
As the evening continued, everyone gathered to enjoy a dazzling fireworks display. Some residents wrapped up warmly to watch the fireworks from outdoors, while others enjoyed the view from the comfort of inside, ensuring everyone could take part in the celebrations.
The team at Highclere were delighted to see so many smiles throughout the evening. Suzanne Durrant, Activities Coordinator; Tyrone Piers, Maintenance Operative, and Molly Marshall, Activities Coordinator, who helped organise the event, said:
“It was a great event that all of our residents and their families seemed to really enjoy.”
