
Residents at HC-One’s Augustus Court Care Home in Garforth, Leeds, West Yorkshire, were treated to a heart-warming afternoon of music and companionship thanks to singer, Richard Stirland and his adorable dog, Honey.
Richard, accompanied by Honey, delivered a warm and uplifting performance that had residents smiling, singing along, and reminiscing. His selection of beloved classics from Queen, Frank Sinatra, and Elvis Presley filled the home with energy and nostalgia, creating a truly special experience for everyone in attendance.
Meanwhile, Honey delighted the residents with her playful tricks and affectionate nature, spreading joy as she offered cuddles to anyone who wanted them. The combination of live music and Honey’s comforting presence created a vibrant, feel-good atmosphere throughout the home.
Shirley McBride, a resident, said: “I loved seeing his little doggy. I used to have a dog. I want to take her home with me!”
