
Residents and colleagues at HC-One’s Chorlton Place Care Home in Chorlton, Manchester, were delighted to welcome Afzal Khan, MP for Manchester Rusholme, on Thursday 11 December 2025 for a special visit celebrating the home’s commitment to high-quality care and strong community spirit.
During the visit, Afzal Khan toured the home’s modern facilities, including its hair salon, kitchenette, lounge, dining area, ensuite bedrooms, and garden. He met with residents and colleagues to learn more about Chorlton Place’s personalised approach to care and the engaging activities that enrich daily life for those living at the 48-bed residential and nursing care home. He also joined in with Christmas Jumper Day and the festive Christmas celebrations in the home.
The visit highlighted the dedication of the care team and the meaningful relationships that make Chorlton Place a valued part of the local community.
